Actually, all connections on the charging system should get checked.
Frequency depending on the amount of mileage, I usually do mine at every oil
change. With diesels, there are two batteries in parallel with longer than
normal battery cables. Everything should be nice and clean. He also doesn't
say how the rig is powered. Hopefully it's directly off the battery and not
from some other place in the truck.

I'm also mobile only!! Dodge 2500 Quad Cab Turbo Diesel, 706/2710H/2006/38A
with HIQ 3/80 for HF and various Larsen NMO mounted antennas. This is my 4th
mobile, and will never go back to a gas engine! Big difference in noise.
