[Mobile-Portable] 2003 Tahoe Ignition Noise

That's very interesting, because at my place of employment we have several
GM/Chevy SUVs and trucks, and all the late models I've listened to (99-03)
are stone cold quiet, every one of them.
Inspection of the engine compartment shows more and better grounding than
the morons at Ford ever dreamed of (speaking as a star-crossed F-150 owner).
So, with that, I would offer:
1. The small square boxes are COP (coil-on-plug) ignition modules. No more
HV wires and distributors. Each box is its own autotransformer that fits
atop the plug.
2. It may be that there are some grounding/installation issues to be
addressed. My initial observation is based upon driving my own HF-mobile
setup around the GM/Chevy vehicles in question, so the observation is
separate from installation.
GL!
