[Mobile-Portable] Fuel pump noise.

Hello mobileers;

I hear noise anytime the (electric) fuel pump is running on my '90 =
Nissan pickup.

1.)  Anyone here have experience in clearing up the noise from one =
these?  Please tell me what you heard, and then what you did to clear it =
up.  BTW, it is mounted INSIDE the fuel tank. =20

2.)  Fuel pump 165,000 miles .  Any idea how frequently they should be =
replaced.
