[Mobile-Portable] Amtrak mobile?

My wife and 2 little ones are considering traveling from MD to TX by 
train.  Has anyone ever operated HF from a moving Amtrak train?  I rode 
them all over the US when I was a teen.  Probably wouldn't be able to put 
anything outside the train due to tunnels and other train-related things 
that may go zooming by.  Actually, perhaps at the end of the train.  IIRC, 
there is sometimes a little perch on the end of the last car.  A 10-meter 
mag mount could possibly be set up there.  I guess I could always bring my 
MFJ Magnetic Loop and set that up instead.  That could actually go in the 
family compartment.  Dang, this seems like a daunting task!  Best I can 
come up with so far is the mag mount or mag loop at the back of the 
train.  Anyone else?
