       The HF mobile screwdriver antenna made by Dwight Wood - KE=D8KH in=20
Colorado Springs, CO is every bit the mobile antenna of all the others. Mayb=
e=20
better in some cases. The mounting is very quick disconnect in that it is of=
 the=20
shell and post arrangement. The post is a part of the mobile mount, and the=20
shell on the bottom of the antenna slips over it. A Molex connector that car=
ries=20
the DC to the antenna motor is also of the quick disconnect type. I use a=20
single bracket with small hoop and PVC insulator attached to the back door o=
f my=20
Trooper to stabilize (and secure) the antenna in place. This is also quick=20
disconnect using a 1/4-20 screw and wing nut.
