Are you hiring them, as a third party labor source, charging $$$$ to do 
all the work for you?


I use the various UPS/FedEx stores, and the rates are the same, because 
UPS/FedEx sets the rates, which I know when I pack/weigh, and before I 
leave to drop off an item, no different than USPS.  Once I pack an item, 
I compare prices of all services in the region, then provide the info to 
the buyer, who chooses what delivers in his area, and a price he likes. 
Often USPS is the cheapest, coming in at 1/3 - 1/2, for larger items.

Of the whole process, it's the cost of a decent box that is insane.
