If you do get it working, consider 144.25 being that's a VHF AM frequency we have been using for years now at events. Red Ball MVPA and the Annual Gilbert MRCA show will be coming up in September 25th and 26th and there will be several of us that will be running gear on 144.25 at that event. Depending on interest may also have a formal VHF Net?

Hi Jack
The SCR-522 now makes its home with me.
Last March, a friend and I drove up to NYC and met Ken. Ken showed us his restoration shop (very nice) and then the three of us enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. Good food, and great conversation!
I displayed the SCR-522 at the Reading WW II Weekend this year.

Will I ever restore it to operating condition? I don't know. The transceiver came out of its original shipping container and is squeaky clean. It might not take much to get it on the air, but I have other projects that are ahead of it.

I understand and appreciate that statement!
I will be bringing MIL goodies to the Berryville hamfest in the hopes of them finding a new home.
