If you do get it working, consider 144.25 being that's a VHF AM frequency we have been using for years now at events. Red Ball MVPA and the Annual Gilbert MRCA show will be coming up in September 25^th and 26^th and there will be several of us that will be running gear on 144.25 at that event. Depending on interest may also have a formal VHF Net?

The SCR-522 now makes its home with me.

Last March, a friend and I drove up to NYC and met Ken. Ken showed us his restoration shop (very nice) and then the three of us enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. Good food, and great conversation!

I displayed the SCR-522 at the Reading WW II Weekend this year.

Will I ever restore it to operating condition? I don't know. The transceiver came out of its original shipping container and is squeaky clean. It might not take much to get it on the air, but I have other projects that are ahead of it.
