[Milsurplus] Radios in movies

How did i miss this thread, first time around ?
I was watching this late 1940s early 1950s movie about Philippine anti Japan guerilla operations.
One scene had the resistants moving a No.19 set in large wooden shipping container. Yeah, right.
Ideal set for the job.
This reminds me of the book, “You’re No Good To Me Dead”, where the team given a Navy MBM
found it too ostentatious. Walking thru Manila carrying a large suitcase looking like American
Tourister brand luggage was like a neon sign saying, “I am a spy”.
