I just remembered this thing. It is unused HP surplus i picked up when i worked at a Seattle surplus store before 1979 A.D. I had i don't know, what i mind when i obtained it. I think we had about 20 of them and it seemed too wonderful to not get one.
This is a ferroresonant transformer for a regulated 12 volts AC output. One winding is for a 20 ( i think ) mFd nonpolarized resonating cap. The primary is not tapped for various AC input. This is a nice looking xfmr, inused, not potted. At one time i had a data sheet for it. IF i still have that, IF, it might take up to 2 years before i recover it. I'm in Newport Oregon, which is off the beaten track. If i have to ship it, the price escalates dramatically. Perhaps late this year of more likely next summer i can hand it off along I-5 between Corvallis and Seattle. I was thinking $5 just to move it, but i think the benefit to me of finally no longer storing it is worth making the price $0.00
