[Milsurplus] RAS-4 receiver - Salt Lake City - FTGH

Depends too whether it is modified or not. I looked at a photo of the free RAS estate item and the receiver is modified enough that it is a "worker", usable of course, but not as a collectible. A fellow in WA was thinking abt getting it but the shipping is well > $200. In the course of a lifetime that's just a fotgettable blip, but still. The complete coilsets IS something, tho. The HB PS looks good but has no cash value apart from the radio.

Now re disposing of the other RAS set complete, i am thinking, the antiqueradios.com is a better venue. I am also thinking maybe, just maybe, in these times, many people don't want something so large and involved. The dreaded "inflection point" ? Maybe so, altho i dread that.

I also have a receiver RAS-4 to move out. I think i found a Nat'l HRO PS for it. It's a fine looking machine, but i was never into HROs, just too many separate items. I had a AMR-1, which i sort of regret moving out, but it was SO large with its transit cases. I still have the KST which is a very good looking beast but will probly go. I have 2 Japanese "HRO" and i think that's all i will keep in HROs.

Just curious: anyone here have the HF anti-image preselector for the RAS ?
