A little more info - it was evidently a 1939 GE contract.

Diversity Receiving Equipment RBE is a complete diversity
radio receiving equipment suitable for use at Naval
radio stations. It is used for diversity reception of continuous
wave or interrupted continuous wave radio telegraph signals
by either loudspeaker or headphones, or by telegraph recorder.
The equipment also permits the reception of modulated
continuous wave radio telephone signals, by headphone or
loudspeaker methods, over separate channels without diversity
combination of these separate channels. The components of
the equipment are mounted on a cabinet type rack.

Frequency Range:
   System: 550 to 30,000 kc
   Single and Dual Preselector : 550 to 32,000 kc
Intermediate Frequency : 456 kc
Input Connections: Single wire type antenna, balanced feed line or a low
impedance concentric transmission line
Input Impedance:
   System: 600 ohms
   Loudspeaker: 600 ohms
   Single and Dual Preselector: 80 to 125 ohms
Output Impedance (Single and Dual Preselector) : 80 to 100 ohms
Diversity Combining Unit:
   Type of Reception: Cw or icw
   Maximum Speed: 500 words per minute
Power Output (Loudspeaker) : 1.75 v
Power Requirements: 115-v 60-cycle 1-phase ac
