Well, "gain" in dB is *always* a relative figure. It's not absolute, but always a comparison of one thing to something else. So, even for two terribly lossy antennas, one can be said to have "gain" in dB over the other. Choose your comparison antenna carefully & your new antenna product will have amazing numbers.
