Kurt, your B&W antenna mention reminds me of sonething i saw in a J. C. Whitney catalog years ago. A coil - type addition to your car radio antenna. "Improves reception !" I say BS. Massive BS. Car radios for the MW BC band are designed for a short, low capacitance antenna.
