[Milsurplus] Yorktown museum?

A lot of times areas aren't open to the public to prevent damage/pilfering
but if you make a contact with the ship's ham club or radio restorers they
will usually welcome an interested person.
I visited the Yorktown a dozen years ago and was told all the radio gear
had been stripped out - but since then, a bunch has been found and restored.
