A fellow in Bellevue, WA, i forget his name at the moment but it will come to me later, told me many years ago the gov't
paid $1100 each for the receivers. He had the 2 receiver housing but didn't want it and sold it to a surplus store.
You could have gotten all 4 of the no-cabinet RBMs at Beseda sale for < $50 and probably this would have included the ACPS
and a switchbox.
I have myself 4 RBM-mf but i need to cut down severely, planning another move, so these will have to go. They are quite
nicely built. The mf model is great for AM band DXing. The hf model, and RBS, i could not get used to having a tuning rate
so high that an accidental flick on the tuning knob took you entirely out of the band. Also the "BROAD - BROADER" selectivity
control needs maybe help from a Q multiplier, like using the dial light dimmer knob.

Attached is photo of a hammified RBM sold on Radioattic 2006 for $400, i swear that's what it said. My thoughts were, some
people spend too much time on essentially pointless activities; "you can't make a silk purse...."; and, the buyer is ignorant
and/or insane.
