Wow ! What do you suppose the floppy drive in the GRC-9 did ? I'm stumped.
I like these ridiculous ( actually, some hilarious ) perversion projects. I still pine for the Command Set transmitter wirh the big transistors heat sink on top. Maybe it was a conversion to an Astron RS-35 ? But the seller seemed to think he really had something desirable, when in fact i was the only 1 in 8 billion who would look at it twice.
