The inquiry about the ARC 5 pot got me looking for 'The pot guy' (probably
don't want to google that)   He has a website and sold vintage parts and
NOS pots, plus he made up rare custom pots like oddball combo of K ohms and
Megohms of the 2 section RF gain control in a Hammarlund receiver using all
new components.  I think he is like William Perry in that he must have
bought up the nationwide inventory of pots from closing electronics
stores.   Anyway, I can't find him, and while it may be a bit pricey, it
would be brand new.  Remember the days when you could go to a Lafayette
Electronics store and request a 500K audio taper with an on/off switch and
the salesman would go to the back, bring out 2 Centralab boxes and assemble
it right on the counter?
