I use a PP-1104 C/G power supply.
28v@ 50A or 12 v @ 100. I believe the supply was originally intended to be
used for charging fork lift batteries.
It is a great suppy and had never bogged down...except once 30 yrs ago when
I was going to turn on a T-195 xmtr I'd just got.
I turned on the xmtr ..and immediately a big groan came the power
supply..the lights in the garage dimmed..and the 40 amp fuse on the Xmtr
blew.
The xmtr was stored somewhere damp with the air flow cover open and I guess
the moisture formed a film on the comutators that formed a short. Got them
cleaned up ..no damage and the T_195 was fully operational and on the air.
Use the supply on ART 13s, BC 375s, BC 191s as well others..
