I did in the early 80's, although not ebay, when the trend hit, and I 
had multiple copies of each National Geographic printed from ~1900 onward.

Made some serious $$$$$.  The multi-vehicle load of mags cost me $10.

Honestly, I wish I still had one of each mag.
