Well, that article says it was also developed, or at least tried, for the SX-28 and ARB receivers. ( That last one was a big surprise, but i suppose its application
was indeed a high noise environ. ) That article made me think about reading about 'noise limiters' and for once and all getting a good understanding of how
their components work. I already have the big picture. I am thinking Lamb noise limiter, TNS, and the McMurphy discriminator used in the ARR-15.
