I was going to use as an example a specific food product, but i'll spare you, altho it's kind of funny. 
Anyway the whole of the emphasis on selling a product. Appearances are everything,
and the few who examine the labels are the exception. Thinking people are the exception. 
Listen to AM radio talk shows. ( I wonder if Wayne Root's broadcast prediction that Republicans will
be arrested, will come true. Maybe i should be packing? )
And China is the ultimate practitioner of "appearance is everything, make the sale."
