Well, it actually isn’t an RY generator, it is a Reversals generator, hence
different devices interpret it differently.

0(start)
10101(Y)
01(should be a 1 for stop, but maybe the device doesn't stop)
01010(R)
1(it probably does stop)
0(start)
10101(Y)
Repeat RYRYRY

If the device does stop on 01 then you get
YYYYYYYYY

So it all depends on how that device interprets the “improper” 01

A true 7.00 unit RY generator sends
0101011 0010101
