Excellent point, but when the "square wave" is at 50 percent duty cycle
and proper frequency it will emulate the RY pattern and mechanical
teletype machines can follow it. PFM I am sure that one of the teletype
machine aficionados can explain the timing better than I . The RY
generator usually does not work on "computer " ugh! RTTY. Grab a
machine and jump in - there is quite a bit of real teletype "machine"
activity on 80 meters at night.
