Yes, i think the R-460 is the same thing as the HRO-50. I have not yet bought a manual for it. I saw it at hamfest and i thought it was too beat,
paint not good, plus i seem to have misread the one coil and thought somehow that coil was for the 2 MHz band only. I learned later to my
chagrin that it sold for $5. Yes, you read that right. The fellow who bought it needed only the power transformer but he did clean it up quite
a bit and it actually looks alluring now. But no power transformer. He gave the R-460 to me, God bless him. I looked closely at the coil and it is
actually for the 7 - 14 MHz range, which is a nice range to have, if you only get one coil. I have MANY other neat projects and i think i will
have to draw the line here and will give it away. I am not really that into HRO type receivers and will sell off my KST, HRO-5, and HRO-60.
I won't be out of projects as i have 2 of the Japanese "HRO" and one of the 2/3 size Japanese "HRO" which i read was parachute delivered,
unlikely as that seems. One of these Japanese HROs has a complete set of coils LF thru HF BUT....the LF coils, up to maybe 2 MHz, need
different IF cans plugged in. I don't think i have the lower frequency IF cans, so those coils won't be of much use. But anyway i would if i
only had one set, i am happier having the higher frequency IF cans.

My informal count of HRO "models" or "copies":
Australia 2
NZ 1
Germany WWII 1
Germany DDR 1
Japan 2 + 1 of 2/3 size HRO ( i don't recall model number )
USA various, count ? also 1 motor tuned, sweep tuning
OH yes, USA, "Northern Radio Co." ( Seattle ) "S-20" rebadged HRO Jr. for Alaska ship use in fish industry, which receiver i sold 2 - 3 years ago.
