[Milsurplus] Can anyone ID these Aussie HF Intercept Receivers (used in Vietnam)

Given that the R-391 autotune system takes 15 seconds to change frequency
(count down to 00 000 then count up to desired preset), does it make sense
to use them for monitoring multiple channels? It would reduce operator
fatigue (R-390 wrist) and perhaps that's the reason.
Most listening posts I've heard about used R-390/R-390As.
