Any switching converter from China is effectively a military-grade jammer. The Chinese do not care about US FCC or anything like that.
I have an Ebay Chinese AC switching converter that I bought as a direct replacement for a Dell computer power supply. I cannot listen to BCB when it is plugged in. It also raises the HF noise level to S-7 - S-9 across the band until abou 10m. However, a vhf/uhf scanner located in the same room will get de-sensed and noisy.
Best advice it so avoid ALL electronics from China if at all possible.
