I worked on a couple of those, not a bad radio but will tell you now don’t get it wet! Replaced front keyboards and encoder due to water damage on them, also and maybe it’s because it’s me did not like the fact that you can not operate outside the norm. Like no matter what you do you cannot operate USB on forty meters, or outside the internal data base of channels like on 60 meters. Maybe that’s because I did not read the manual but only had them in to do the repairs. ALC alignment can be fun too, no pots in the radio just menus.
But then again where you going to get performance that exceeds a PRC-104, includes VHF and can be bought new with antenna tuner for less then a used and often questionable PRC-104?
