[Milsurplus] HV oil caps - keep or not ?

I found in my storage, 6 of oil caps 4 uF 2000V. I need to decide whether to keep these a little longer or not.
I only maybe anticipate having to build one HV DC supply, for about 1000 volts for a Japanese aircraft radio.
I don't know if these caps have enough capacity to be practical for this use. I would, I think, use a choke input
filter. Then would 2 or maybe 3 of these parallel, give me enough filtering? The supply, I'm thinking, should do
about 1000 volts at around 150 mA max. Since the transmitter is CW only, I could actually go cap input, and the
big jump in voltage would probably be okay, as long as I regulate the VFO voltage. The alternative to these caps
would be lytics, a stack of 3 of 450 lytics and choke input to keep the B+ from flying up to AC peak. So what think?
What would you do? If I don't keep these oil caps, I would most likely give them away at a hamfest. Which may
be optimistic thinking, because who builds anything like that, or even knows what an oil cap is? BTW, they are
Pyranol, but I won't be licking the case or using it on a salad, so no problem.
