Some decades ago, my Novice rig was a TCS. I was given a power supply by a friend.
This "power supply" was simply an old TV chassis without the CRT. He called it a 
"suicide supply". I learned why that name when one night I inadvertently laid a 
hand down on the chassis. ONE hand. 
The one-hand rule I think, was the FIRST wisdom about electronics I learned.
