Well, maybe. But it would depend upon how many you had to do and what else
you also had to do. Also it would assume that (a) the person reading could
read the writing and (b) knew what to do when he read it. And (c) was near
enough to the transmitter to read it. Plus the recognition time would be
longer. But there is still the issue of whether or not such a different TU
existed.

Seems like rather a waste of time to paint the whole front, doesn't it? If
you wanted it not to be mixed up with any other BC-375,
why not just paint some lettering on the front panel ?
