related. but is an idle curiosity question.

What's up with Wulfsberg radios?

I don't think I've ever seen any discussion of them on the email lists. 
Are they
not collectible? Or usable? Too difficult or too much un- obtanium to 
use them
for amateur use?

Specifically.  I see Wulfsberg radios listed on eBay, but have had 
little success finding
any specific information on the various model numbers.  I have found 
that an RT-18D
is a UHF FM, but what specific range, power out, control heads etc?

The only Wulfsberg web presence I've found is just a generic information 
type page.

Just curious if anyone has made any hobby collecting or use of these radios.
