Hi, Hue.
They heated-up and ate power.
I think they would have actually charred
had I kept using them. Probably a
contaminated dielectric. Like Chinese
plastic, which shatters and disintegrates
in a short time in their consumer products,
they likely left-out the most expensive
ingredient or used some other adulteration
in making them. Same result with the
blue- and red-dipped discs from China.
I don't know why, but Silver Micas- even
larger ones- also heat and waste power
when used in PA output circuits.
