On my TCS setup, using the info kindly given here on milsurp from one fellow, I empirically determined, that to load up to 50 ohms so I could use my antenna tuner into my wire antennas the following worked just fine and gave me 35-40 watts out in CW.

160 meters, switch in Parallel, 500pf in series with the 200pf to ground at the TX ant jack.
80 Switch in parallel, 200pf in series
40 Switch in series, no additional capacitance.

I mounted the two transmit style 2500volt micas side by side with one end of each connected via a solid connection to the TX ant jack using and aluminum plate, my lead to my antenna switch and the tuner is terminated with heavy gator clips and I clip the hot lead to the appropriate points, 500pf out, 200pf out, or to the common point at the TX ant jack. A jumper hooks the 200pf to ground when needed. Tune up in dummy load though those caps, switch to the tuner and it works great.
