I looked at the BC-348-B manual at jamminpower's website
http://www.jamminpower.org/PDF/BC-348/BC-348-B.pdf
and honestly, I didn't see that the manual photo is much help. Except maybe the knobs do not have the ridges all around
the perimeter, is that what you mean? That the -B knob is smooth all around the perimeter surface?
I don't recall that the BC-224-A set has this style knob or not.

BTW, I had always thought BC-348-S meant the AC power converted -348. But jamminpower has the manual for the
BC-348-S and BC-224-L and these both are 24 volts. I was also surprised by the wide difference in series letters, S versus L.

Greeting Again:

I posted the need for a knob a while back, thought I'd repeat it "just in case" somebody stumbled across one, here's a rerun:

          Greetings:

I'm trying to locate a single round knob for a BC-348. I'm restoring a BC-348-B (Serial #139) and this is one of the final hurdles. This is not the typical "ribbed" knob we all know, this has a cross-hatched or knurled finish. It may be been typical of the early BC-224's too, although I'm only guessing since this by far the oldest example I've worked with. Thanks..

And yes, this is accurate. Looking at the illustrations in the original BC-224-B/BC-348-B manual, you can clearly see the knurled knobs. My "C" model has the typical ribbed version. Being the age it is and my assumption that it's somewhat rare, I had my doubts in the beginning too. This is the volume/beat freq, etc, knob.

In addition, I've had no luck digging up a BC-224-E tag either and need it to complete another project. My junk box couldn't produce one. Perhaps somebody will stumble across one, someday. It would be greatly appreciated. These are collected by me and not resold... Thanks!!!
