In a never ending attempt to find things that most people consider useless I am now in search of a Nems Clarke 1037 telemetry receiver, somewhat into the early space flight stuff and it appears that the 1037 was the receiver used for most of the Mercury and Gemini programs at ground stations. What the hell if APT satellites still exist can also use it to downlink the 137.5 We Fax stuff. Already have a bunch of WJ junk that will do that now but want the 1037 just because.
There is a 1037 on EBay for around $100 or so but its missing the spectrum display and by the time you figure shipping and everything else don't need something that has no real function that bad.
So there you go , if collecting and using Mill Spec radios is not select enough am ready to move into early space flight hardware.
Do have someone who wants to give me a 1501 along with the spectrum display but somehow don't see that having the same prominence, although think that still has the JPL stickers on it.
