That’s a rough deal.  I did look that up and it seems that it was a legit prop made by the company listed in grants pass.  It would seem that it was designed to take a more modern radio inside maybe? As a buyer and seller on eBay all I can say is try and hope the seller understands.  Especially if you requested additional pictures and they were not provided.
