Hue - I am not at all familiar with any of these, so, I probably should not
comment. However it looks like the way it was intended to be carried it
would have bent away from the person carrying it. The bottom ledge would be
in his stomach or back if he carried it the way you suggest. 73 - Mike

Here's the bare metal frame of the backpack equipment. WHY does it bend
toward the bearer's 

neck? I find this so uncomfortable as to be  unusable.
