A few years ago, I found a "forestry" radio marked
with a BLM identifier and a tag saying it had done
service in Alaska.  It is a Northern Radio Company
of Seattle, WA type 450, model B.

There was not information on the net about so
I started tracing and poking around until I figured-out
it was a six-channel xtal-controlled HF portable
designed to run 25 W out screen-modulated AM
from at least 3 to 9 MC.  Solid state
except for a 6CL6 driving a 6146.  Runs on 12 VDC.
Got it running and it's a sweet little talker.

I'm hoping that, after these last few years, some
info on it might have surfaced.  Anyone?
