[Milsurplus] I bought a front cover for TBX...

I bought off Ebay a front cover for the TBX-8 radio. My thinking was, I have several
TBXs of various suffixes, a couple without cover, and I thought I'd supply a cover with
the radio when I put these radios on Ebay. ( The "upgrade" plan has never worked out
financially for me though, I have to admit. )
What surprised me when I got it, is that the frequency chart pages inside the cover are
still in some kind of thin wrapping paper. I would have thought the TBX cover I bought
would be from some beater that was junked, but it appears this one, SN #284, was new.
Some sad story there, I'm sure, with the radio going one way, maybe to a local sale or
who knows what.
