[Milsurplus] "Global Shipping Program"

I was looking at a manual offered for sale on Ebay but I see the postage
to U.S. from U.K. is L 38, more than the cost of the manual. I inquired
and learned this cost is due to Ebay's "Global Shipping". Aha, I should
have guessed. I bought earlier this year a large, heavy photo book from
the U.K. and the postage was quite reasonable; of course, Ebay had no
hand in it, no "added service value". I imagine for  an actual hardware
equipment, the overseas shipping Ebay adds might be truly breathtaking.
