A geolgist by the name of Thomas (I believe) Gold, stated that the earth MAKES oil, 
constantly. That it is a natural process, and that we will NEVER run out of oil.

He also stated that to say that oil is from the carcasses of long-dead dinosuars is total crap.

So, what that oil-man told you follows pretty much what Dr. Gold discovered.

And I believe it.
