Yes, in the RAL, no, in the RAK. Even with that filter switched out, the audio still sounds
"pinched", though.

Correct, although both the RAL and RAK have what RCA calls AVC. What that actually is, is
an audio limiter. It keeps you from getting your ears blown off, but does nothing for fades. I
never used mine. Just left it off.
