That 'AWA Journal' issue I referenced, back when we were discussing what "SLR" represented, has some text about Scott's
post war marketing of the modified receivers.
The RBO, altho it works well for its purpose, is pretty damned heavy, isn't it? I seem to remember Julyah last summer
finding one and sort of regretting owning it, for just that reason.

I also seem to remember a PSARA swapmeet, must have been around 1985, John Peterson ( SK ) buying an absolute
mint condition SLR-F or such Scott. As he lugged it to his car, he set it down and behold, there was a new scratch on its
panel. "Did I just do that ?!?!", he asked. Yes, his belt buckle had in fact just done that.
