I never understood why the Scott communications receivers weren't better known.
I have two RCH receivers, which are identical with the Scott SLR-F receivers.
I had one as a youngster too. I found the RCH to be very robust, stable, sensitive enough
for my uses, and I really like the heavily-flywheel-loaded dial mechanism.
Yet I have almost never, ever seen any write up on their use during (or after) WWII.
Seems like the only Scott receivers which are widely known and, apparently, used were
those "entertrainment" receivers, like the RBO.
Rats.
I wish I knew more about them.
