[Milsurplus] CMS Update

A "generator" to power the receiver is not logical. The receiver power requirement is so low that a telephone magneto crank
generator would do the job. I mean, 3 volts @ 150 mA and 45 volts at maybe a couple mA. Crazy. IF this was to be derived from
a dual use generator, I say we have never seen a handcrank generator with two output connectors. Nor have we ever seen any
hint of the CMS generator. I said before I thought the thing was never issued and I tend to believe that still. Maybe late date
code tubes were installed later, I don't know. But I know, no electronic manufacturer would in 1945 have drawn the schematic
like that, freehand and that simple minded. You can refer to the AC PS manual for 1945 manufacturing characteristics. Maybe
these things were just kicking around in the warehouse and someone got the wild idea to use them for training ca. 1945. The
militaries don't have a revenue minus expenses equals profit accounting system, and they go off on pointless projects often
enough, we know that.
