While digging around in the stash I found one of these audio level
meters and I think someone must need it more than me.

It appears from the TMÂ 11-2151 Â Â I downloaded that it is actually a
carrier current- double conversion superhet receiver with an attenuator
and bandpass filter ahead  of it as well as a huge very nice DB meter
and nice military grade tuning dial.  I was thinking and maybe
incorrectly that it would make a good or passable LF receiver since it
is supposed to be 20-500kc.  1st if is 1100, 2nd is 82kc.

It is currently missing a power transformer and perhaps a choke as well
as all tubes.  I think I have all or nearly all of the tubes and
transformers needed  on hand. All tubes are common metal octal tubes ,
several are 6j5's, etc .

The power supply uses series tube regulators, 6y6,6sg7 and a ob2 as well
as a 5y3.

The TM doesn't have the full   schematic, google did not scan it in, but
there are all the various pieces of the circuits in the manual to "see
how it was done"

I don't have the steel cabinet for it or any original knobs but since
some were for the attenuator and function switch, I doubt they are needed.

I am hoping someone will really, really want this and make a wonderful
offer for it and save me  from another project since it seems now that I
have no hope of completing all that I have now and must pass some on

Thanks, George W5GRG, AFA6GG
