The ARR-5, 7, 7AX all use a separate 400 Hz supply, I think. At the far end of this connector is a grounded 3 contact AC mains plug.
I am thinking some kind of test equipment? The connector itself is marked
ESC
MS 3057
-2A
There is a ribbon tying up the cord. The ribbon has stamped on it, 0863/FT
No idea what that might mean. Maybe nothing related to this cord !
thanks-

>It could have additional applications of course, and the connector insert and body colors were not available during WW-II but the connector shown, aside from age, matches what would be found on R-44/ARR-5 and R-45/ARR-7. So maybe made for some countermeasures receiver that replaced those. But not AN/APR-4 or AN/ALR-5 as those used a 4-pin connector.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Unk AC power cord ?
Anyone recognize this AC power cord with this connector ? I just today found it, or should I say,
rediscovered it.
