Subject: [Milsurplus] SX-28 original selling prices ?
Do you own a Hallcrafters SX-28 ?
Or do you maybe know the selling prices for this receiver for each
year of its retail sale?
Reason I ask:
I have found some catalog pages from the 'War Assets Administration',
ca. 1945, 1946, listing items
for sale from manufacturer WW2 surplus. The SX-28 is listed at $240.
I want to determine if these
catalog prices are retail – new, or discounted at some percentage
from retail, or are actually "original
government cost".
thanks-
Hue Miller
