[Milsurplus] War Assets Corporation prices

So I don't know what those prices on the 'Belmont Radio Corporation - Agent for War Assets Corporation' price list actually represent.
The SX-28 price seems to be absolute retail list.
Here are some other prices that are puzzling:
FT-154   $5.90
BC-1206   $22.27
R-77/ARC-3    $386.83
BC-453, 454, 455   each $92.10
TU-10 of BC-375    $77.90
SCR-284    $80
RAK-6, 7   $58.50    ( This is the second ad I have seen offering RAK in quantity. What puzzles me is that there is no corresponding quantity
RAL offering. So was the military retaining, for now, the HF receiver ? )

It seems to me the surplus prices at these early years were very unstable, like they were determining the market. What they found was
that for most gear, the commercial market was just not there, or was steadily diminishing.
